Dane and I began by reviewing and correcting last night's homework on interpreting bar graph data, basic geometry ideas, and solving problems using all operations. Then, Dane and I reviewed the steps to complete long division before he independently solved 3-digit by 1-digit problems. Finally, we worked on cumulative review questions on matching area models to multiplication equations, long division, comparing fractions and decimals, lines of symmetry, and 4-digit addition.
