Today’s lesson focused on leaders in Greece. Mercer reviewed a brief introduction to Alexander the Great, his accomplishments, and how he conquered many territories. He answered questions about the region of Mesopotamia, where Alexander learned about astronomy, and whether he was a good guy or a ruthless leader. He spent the remainder of class learning fun facts about Spain and its population. Mercer was on task.
