Mercer worked on adding pencil outlines to his watercolor portrait. We focused on finding the horizon and making sure to add detail to the objects that are closer to the front. Leaving the objects in the back, slightly fuzzy. Mercer and I went over what happens when you use too much water and try to blend watercolor. This is why, pre-planning is always best for watercolors. So, we focused on leaving highlights white from the start because it's hard to add back in.
