Today Bella and I got to know each other by discussing the syllabus and what we will be covering this year in English III. We talked about how we will be studying the Hero's Journey archetype, a Shakespearean play, a graphic novel, African-American literature and short stories. We will create a portfolio of all our work done in this class, to include essays, creative projects, grammar, short responses, and vocabulary. We will create a quote-book notebook for each piece of literature we study.
