Today, Bella and I began our Hero's Journey unit, wherein we began by discussing the different types of heroes in literature and popular culture, and took notes on the types. They include the following: Classic Hero, Contemporary Hero, Anti-Hero, Tragic Hero and Byronic Hero. We also began discussing the Hero's Journey graphic organizer, beginning with the hero's departure.
