Atticus and I began with a quick check of this weekend's homework in which he chose any 10 out of the 12 problems from a spiral review. He did a great job, showing all of his work. Then, he completed Friday's quiz on using all operations with decimals, scoring a 90%. Today's lesson looked at how to multiply fractions. We completed examples using folded paper and quick pictures to represent multiplying a part of a part before multiplying the numerators and denominators straight across. For homework, Atticus was assigned 10 practice problems on multiplying fractions, simplifying when necessary.
