Atticus started class with our fifteen minute sketch. We then reviewed the vocabulary for the Lino Printing lesson. We went over the carving tools and their blades, the types of carving blocks and the history of block printing with a focus in Japan. We then started to use a scrap piece of Lino to get familiar with the tools and how to place your hands, etc.
