Atticus and I reviewed last night's homework on multiplying fractions, which he did great on. He was reminded to always simplify his fractions and we reviewed how to use cross-cancellation before multiplying to make problems easier to manage. Then, we expanded on yesterday's lesson to include multiplying mixed numbers as well as proper fractions before we completed the lesson's word problems, applying multiplying fractions to real-world situations. For homework, Atticus is to choose 5 problems from each group on multiplying fractions and mixed numbers.
