Today, Bella and I finished writing our paragraph analyzing the language by which Othello has been introduced in Scene 1, using the chart we made. She then wrote a second paragraph suggesting why a dramatist might want to delay the entrance of the main character until the audience has heard a significant amount about him from other characters in the play. We focused on writing a clear topic sentence, properly introducing and citing evidence from the play, and elaborating on the quotations.
