Lesson Outline
After reviewing the next segments of the short story, Jaydn worked on preparing study guide responses. We then discussed how we might comment on the story using a double entry journal system. I discussed the questionable medical ethics of experimenting on a mentally disabled person who perhaps can not meaningfully consent to the procedure. Jaydn actively participated in discussion on this issue and offered her ideas on the limits- of even science fiction- in stretching the reader's credulity.
