Andrew started off class with a sketch in his sketchbook that he started at home. He then worked on sketching out his new assignment. We began to cover foreshortening of the figure and how to use your pencil as a tool to get the proper angles of the figure. Foreshortening is a harder skill to learn so we took some time to measure out the figure. This will also be Andrew’s largest piece he’s every drawn so scaling up the figure is something we worked on as well.
