This morning, Atticus and I began with a review on multiplying decimals by powers of 10 and exponents of decimals as well as exponents of zero and one. Then, we reviewed last night's homework on understanding powers, writing powers, and evaluating powers and expressions. Atticus was a little overwhelmed and struggled with the concept of repeated multiplication instead of multiplying the base by the exponent. We will continue with this lesson tomorrow and review tonight's correlating problem-solving homework.
