This morning, Atticus completed the lesson's quick check quiz which was last night's incomplete homework. We reviewed the order of operations again before Atticus evaluated numerical expressions, chose the expression with the given value, and wrote an expression to model a word story. He was unable to complete these independently and needed reminders to show all of his work and not jump ahead. By the end of our lesson, Atticus said he understood and wanted to take home the 8-question mid-chapter check to complete for homework.
