Ben and I reviewed common spelling rules and patterns this morning. We went over one-syllable words with double consonants at the end. We also discussed that when a word ends with a /k/ use 'K" or 'ck' instead of 'c,' and practiced using some examples. Ben correctly noted that around half of the English words have irregular spellings. He was in a good mood on this fun Friday before Thanksgiving break.
