Atticus and I looked over this weekend's homework on writing and evaluating both numerical and algebraic expressions. He is still making careless mistakes but continues to develop his skills in using the order of operations. Then, our lesson focused on simplifying algebraic expressions by combining like terms. Finally, we identified equivalent expressions using the properties of operations and substitution and Atticus was assigned the remainder of the problems for homework.
