This morning, Atticus and I reviewed last night's homework on understanding equations and how a solution of an equation is a value for the variable that makes the equation true. He did very well with his homework and took the lesson's 5-question quiz, scoring 100%. Then, we began the next topic on applying properties of equality. We discussed how the addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division properties of equality can be used to write equivalent equations. Atticus answered questions related to the lesson and was assigned the practice and problem-solving problems for homework.
