This morning, Atticus and I continued to review how to solve multiplication and division equations using the properties of equality, the rules of positive and negative numbers, reciprocals, and how to isolate variables. He completed the lesson's practice and problem-solving, writing and solving equations to model word problems. He has been encouraged to work downward, show all of the steps, keep each side of the equation neat and separated by the equal sign, and use the properties of equality. For homework, Atticus was assigned the mid-topic checkpoint.
