Lesson Outline
The session commenced with Chris sharing his excitement regarding the increase in the number of subscribers to one of his "YouTube" channels. He was quite distressed regarding the loss of subscribers last session. He indicated that he attributed this increase to the recent "shorts" that he has been posting. This topic afforded an opportunity to discuss various aspects of social media, including the aspects of "followers," "subscribers," and the sharing of videos. Key aspects of social communication were reviewed. Conversational expansion was variable this session, as cycles of reciprocity were often characterized by abrupt topic shifting. Familiar topic transition strategies were reviewed. Expanded focus in the area of providing inferences and predicting outcomes
was supported with scaffolding cues.
