We examined the development of export economies. We will looked at the point of view, purpose, historical situation, and/or audience of a source. We then examined economic imperialism in the period from 1750 to 1900. We will explain how a historical development is situated within a broader historical context. We looked at the causes of migration in the late 19th century and focused on the skill of making connections among historical developments or processes. We concluded with a review of imperialism. We will work on the skills of argumentation, corroboration, qualification, and modification of an argument.
