We worked on defining and applying the following literary terms: theme, setting, and irony. After we discussed the details of George and Emily's wedding day, I drafted a series of questions which Jaydn answered in writing on our shared Google Docs page. I first addressed the phrase "carpe diem" and based on our discussion and quotes from the play, Jaydn in writing answered questions on this theme of the play . After I defined the three types of irony, Jaydn examined a quote and in writing identified the type of irony and identified why the quote was ironic.
