Lesson Topic
Solving equations with rational exponents
Lesson Outline
I worked with Matthew to show the approach to solving equations with rational exponents. We used the reverse order of operations to isolate the expression with the rational exponent. Then we raised both sides of the equation to the reciprocal power of the exponent to which the original expression was raised. After the calculation was done the expression was the variable set equal to the answer. There was no assignment.

Lesson Comments
I had trouble connecting to Matthew which he claimed was a connection problem, but either way, he was only available during the first session for 15 minutes. While online, he was attentive and answered questions as well as he could.
