We focused on getting ready for a test on solving geometric problems. First we reviewed reflections across the x-axis which change the position of the y-coordinate of all the points in a figure such that (x, y) becomes (x, -y). Then we reviewed reflections across the y-axis which change the position of the x-coordinate of all the points in a figure such that (x, y) becomes (-x, y). Then we focused on finding the surface area of geometric figures by using a net. Next we practiced finding the area of irregular shapes.
