Nicky did not pass the chapter test. So, I decided to take a few more days to review surface area and volume over the next few sessions.
Today, we reviewed the different 3-D shapes, what are they called, how many faces and edges do each have. Finally we reviewed the formulas for each shape step by step. This will help him to understand the formula reference sheet during the test. I noticed that he skips one part of the formula when answering questions. So I also asked him to write out all the steps when doing his test. Revisit 3-D shapes, name them and review all the notes. Calculate surface area.
