Project - currency rates. Finding the currency exchange rates for different countries as compared to the US dollar. Chart and calculate using decimals and fractions. Nicky and I enjoyed this project. We looked up the currencies of several countries and what the exchange rate was as compared to the dollar. We charted the amounts and then calculated the cost of food and drinks. The first thing he researched was the cost of margaritas in Mexico, we definitely had a good laugh about this. This project helped Nicky with adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing using decimals.
