Period 1, lab exercise to practice observing skills, recording observations and drawing inferences. the lab involves the use of a detergent when placed using a toothpick into water, milk, and milk with food coloring. Student will observe and record observations.
Second period involves classwork which involves how the earth is protected from harmful uvb radiant energy through the chemical reaction of oxygen molecules being separated into oxygen atom and then recombining with oxygen molecules to form ozone. Each of the chemical equations are written out in symbol form and explained.
