We used the drums to talk about rhythm, and discussed the difference between melody and rhythm. We learned how notes need to also have rhythm in order to make the melodies in songs that we can play and sing. We did some high to low note reading exercises in the beginning theory book. We played some finger exercises on the keyboard.
