This afternoon, I asked Liam to attempt to re-tell me about aprogram he enjoys. I asked him to retelling it in his own words in a shortened version. I guided Liam to first share details about, LoudHouse, his favorite TV show by answering the who, what, when, where, why and how of the program. Once he shared his list of characters and setting, we discussed the character traits of each character and developed a topic sentence to tell the reader the main concept, or theme.
