This morning, Liam was given an English worksheet assignment that involved paragraph correction. Liam read a passage about Susan B. Anthony that tasked him with circling the way to correct errors in each sentence. We did the first two together to clarify objectives and Liam proceeded to answer the remaining questions. He got 6 out of 8 correct, or 75% and we reviewed his errors - one of which he spotted his error and corrected as we collaborated. This activity allowed me to note areas to work on with Liam (e.g., use of commas; spotting and correcting fragmented sentences; and independent clauses) in efforts to help him better organize his thoughts and translate them on paper using proper syntax.
