Yesterday JPaul was to complete the quiz. When I looked through it, there were some problems he did not answer. So I gave it back to him to completre. When he finished the quiz, we graded it together. He got a 58% on it. He was pretty bummed about it. He made many many silly mistakes. It seemed conceptually JPaul knew what to do, but he made inconsistent errors throughout his work. He added exponents when he was supposed to subtract. He multiplied when he was supposed to divide. Luckily, there will be several more quizzes this quarter for him to improve this portion of his grade. Additionally, we will continue to review these concepts as we continue through the course.
