Infinity
Lesson Outline
Today Joshua turned in his take home test. He completed it within the suggested time frame, which is something I was happy to hear. I will take it home and grade it tonight. Tomorrow we will go through it.
Afterwards, Joshua asked me a chemistry question that had to do with mathematics. Ironically, it had to do with sequences which is our next topic to cover. It was a great segue into our next section. He wanted to know how to write a patterned formula so he can used those as subscripts for his chemical bonds. This got us to chat more about adding infinite terms and discussing whether those diverge or converge. By this time, we had only 10 minutes left in class. So instead of starting the new lesson, we decided we would watch the rest of the video we start last week about the mathematician who explains infinity at 5 different levels. We have already seen the Child, and Teenager explanation. Today we watched the College Student, Grad Student, and Expert levels of Infinity. It's Mindblowing!! :)
