Kellan began with the daily review questions on subtracting multi-digit numbers from the unit's fluency practice activity which was also assigned for homework. Then, we continued to work on understanding equivalent fractions by expanding upon using models to using a number line. Kellan practiced dividing number lines into equal parts to show the points in common or equivalent fractions. A ruler was also used to show how one point could represent two different fractions but the same amount.
