During the day on Thursday Rowan came to me and explained that he had left his material to study for his test that was supposed to be today (Friday) at home and that he wouldn't be home until after 9:00. He asked if we could postpone his test and I agreed, especially because I really wanted to spend more time on radioactive decay and isotopes. Rowan has been having some trouble with it, especially concerning atomic structure, and atomic number vs atomic mass. Since he is taking chemistry and I know that he has been taught atomic structure before (but has retained very little) I wanted to take the time to help him master this basic but crucial information.
