Today's session focused on covalent compound naming and formula writing. Elise at the front desk scanned chapter 4 of Ben's chemistry textbook as he was working from home. Ben reviewed the chapter and gave the formula for the molecules listed in exercise 4.2, p. 57. This marks the completion of chapter 4. Ben should be able to recognize the naming system used for covalent molecules, identify a prefix with a number, give the names of covalent molecules from their formula, and give the formula of covalent molecules from their name.
