Lesson Topic
Being a Good Citizen
Lesson Outline
Jack needed prompting and refocusing techniques to adapt his behaviors in accordance with rules and expectations. One these were clarified, we picked up where we left off last week talking about being a good citizen, which was a very fitting objective. We read and discussed what it means to 'volunteer' as a way to participate in the 'common good,' and discussed the responsibilities of American citizens. We also discussed what juries are and that they make sure that anyone accused of a crime has a fair trial. We ended our session summarizing what it means to be a good citizen. Jack added new information in his Inquiry Journal.
