Lesson 4-3 Use Linear Models to Make Predictions – We learned to sketch trendlines and write equations for data that appear to have a linear association. Then we learned how to make predictions for the data using the equation of a trend line as a linear model of the relationship between the paired data. We discovered that scatterplots can be used to make predictions about current or future trends.
