Libby began with the number of the week activity. She practiced writing the number 1 in standard and word form, circled it on a number line, colored 1 base 10 block, and wrote the one less and one more digit. Then, Libby worked on a counting jellyfish craft. She cut 10 strips of paper numbered 1 - 10, glued them in order to a jellyfish body, and used stickers to model the digits. Libby has a little work left on her jellyfish that she will complete tomorrow.
