Show the map on pg 13a of the textbook. Talk about what a map is and that this map is of the United States. There are fifty states and we live in Florida. Show where in Florida we live. Point to places I have visited and have Libby share where she went this summer and find it on the map. Have Libby draw something she remembers from the trip (she says it is California).
