Lesson Outline
Describe an inequality using the rule of four; verbally, numerically, graphically, and symbolically. This is a new topic so we will look at examples using the number line. Identify the properties used to solve an inequality, which are the same as solving an equation except for one important change. If an inequality is multiplied or divided by a negative quantity, the sense of the inequality must be reversed. Examples will be done as time allows.
