The textbook arrived yesterday so we will take a few minutes to look at features that will be useful in learning calculus. We also will learn to find the equation of the tangent line to a curve. We will also add a new rule for finding a derivative: the quotient rule. Several problems from the textbook will serve as examples of finding derivatives and tangent lines.
