Libby began with the number of the day activity. She practiced writing the number 4 in standard and word form, circled it on a number line, colored 4 base ten blocks, and wrote the 1 less and 1 more digit. Then, Libby counted items shown and wrote how many and colored connecting cubes to represent the numbers 0 - 5 in descending order. To finish, we played a game of one more. We took turns rolling a die, using the number line to find the next number or one more, and covering that amount on the gameboard. The player to first get 4 in a row won the game.
