We reviewed on problems using calculus to sketch a curve. We began the process of solving optimization problems using calculus. Writing the equation for the quantity to be maximized or minimized can be quite challenging. The calculus part of the process requires finding a derivative, setting it equal to zero, and solving can also be challenging. Examples will be done to demonstrate the process.
