This morning, Libby watched a quick video on the number 8 and how it's correctly written before she practiced many times with proper number formation. Then, she worked on counting 8 and 9 in her textbook. Libby counted groups of 8 or 9 objects and drew counters in 10 frames to model the total amount in the groups. We finished our time with a game of Go Fish using cards numbered 1 - 10 to help with number recognition.
