As Joshua wlll benefit from additional practice drawing inferences about character from textual details , today's lesson addressed that skill. Online we studied two AP passages. In the first passage, I assisted Joshua in first identifying details about the character and from there inferring some trait or past history about that character. I explained the inference process as we discussed the passage. Joshua then looked at the second passage. Once I focused him on certain textual details he did well in recognizing the "complex" relationship between the characters representing a tension between old/ traditional and new/ modern,
