Outline and discuss how air resistance depends directly on the speed of the object in contact. Elicit how it also depends on the area in contact with the air. Use some common demonstrations. Define terminal speed and relate it to acceleration becoming zero and air resistance friction balancing the weight. Note also that the velocity becomes zero.
