Jason was invited to watch a student practice a speech he had prepared and was to deliver at lunch later today. He was directed to listen to the speech respectfully. Jason was invited to ask any questions following the presentation, and asked a relevant question. Following the speech, we proceeded back to the classroom where he worked on an activity sheet. He was tasked with filling in the missing numbers on a grid, using the operations of addition and subtraction to do so. Jason did well on the task but prompts helped him to redirect his focusing skills towards more purposeful behavior.
