This morning, we began Topic 4 on comparing numbers 0 through 10, and our lesson was on comparing groups by using a 1-to-1 matching strategy. Libby drew lines to match and compare groups of up to 10 objects and described one group as either greater than or less than in number. Then, she worked on a trace, stamp, write, and paste activity with the numbers 5 through 9.
