We continued instruction on writing an AP style interpretative essay by first reviewing my comments on Joshua's essay on "The Worn Path." We addressed tying the thesis to the focus of the essay question and reorganizing one paragraph for cohesion. In order to continue giving Joshua practice in this skill, I then posted on AP classroom another essay prompt and passage which we reviewed . I provided some direction for an analysis to assist Joshua in drafting a first paragraph that identifies an interpretative thesis and literary elements that support the thesis.
