Jason completed the charts on pages 42-43 in the Inquiry Journal with information about how life in the past contrasted with life today for African Americans and children. We read the texts "A Different Time" and "Children's Rights Now" on pages 36-37 in the Research Companion. We compared and contrasted the photo of a newsie selling newspapers with the photo of children at school learning and having fun.
