Jason and I read the following passages on pages 52-57 in the Research Companion: "In My Neighborhood", "Maps Help Us", "A Picture and a Map", and "Central Park". I asked comprehension questions. He identified the labels, compass rose, map key and symbols on the "Map of Hilltop School." We compared and contrasted the photos and maps of parks. We compared and contrasted the different parks.
