Ben and I discussed the approach of language programs in the US.
We discussed goals and expectations of Spanish 1.
We discussed how much of the success in Spanish 1 can be attributed to memorization and conjugations and we discussed strategies that Ben has used in other classes to help facilitate memorization.
Ben was given a vocabulary list for the preliminary chapter.
He was given an example in English of what it means to conjugate a verb. He seemed to have a good grasp of this as a concept.
